A Storytelling, Art and Music Program Featuring Traditional Folktales

Let’s Celebrate Heritage features a cavalcade of traditional folktales from around the world that celebrates the wonderful diversity of the world and the positive values all people share. Children listen with rapt attention and help dramatize stories like, 'The Inchling', 'The Chinese Zodiac' and 'Lazy Jack'.

This 45-minute session also includes an interactive art project based on the stories, original songs and finger plays. The program supports Ontario curriculum in literacy, social studies, drama, art and music.
